Refund and Returns Policy
At Korea Auto Export, we are committed to ensuring our clients receive accurate, verified vehicles as described. Due to the nature of international vehicle exports and customs regulations, we handle refunds and returns on a case-by-case basis under clearly defined conditions.
1. No Change-of-Mind Returns
All vehicle purchases are final once payment has been made and export processing has begun. We do not accept returns or provide refunds due to a change of mind, preference, or circumstances unrelated to the condition or description of the vehicle.
2. Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund or partial refund under the following circumstances:
Vehicle Misrepresentation: If the vehicle delivered is significantly different from the specifications agreed upon in the invoice or contract (e.g., wrong model, year, transmission type).
Unavailable Vehicle After Payment: If you make payment and the selected vehicle becomes unavailable before shipment, we will offer a replacement or a full refund.
Duplicate or Excess Payment: Any overpayments or duplicate transfers will be refunded after verification.
3. Inspection and Verification
We provide detailed inspection reports, photographs, and confirmation before final invoicing and shipping. It is the buyer’s responsibility to review this material carefully before approving the shipment.
Once the buyer confirms and authorizes shipping, the vehicle is considered “accepted,” and the order is closed.
4. Shipping Damage or Delays
Korea Auto Export is not liable for damage or delays that occur during international shipping handled by third-party carriers. However:
If you purchased marine insurance through us or an authorized partner, any claim must be submitted according to the insurer’s policy terms.
We will support claim processing with documentation and communication as needed.
5. Customs & Local Delivery – We’ve Got It Covered
At Korea Auto Export, we take full responsibility for customs clearance and local delivery in countries where our door-to-door service is offered. This means:
We manage all customs paperwork, import duties, taxes, and registration documents
Vehicles are delivered to your specified address, cleared and ready for local use (where applicable)
Our goal is to eliminate stress and remove all import-related burdens from the buyer
Please note that doorstep delivery and full clearance depend on your location. If you’re unsure whether this service is available in your country, please contact us in advance.
6. Return Conditions (Parts or Accessories Only)
While vehicles are not returnable, auto parts or accessories (if sold by us separately) may be eligible for return under these conditions:
Return request submitted within 15 days of delivery
Item must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition
We responsible for return shipping costs
Refunds for parts will be issued once the item is received and inspected.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us at refund@kautoexport.com with the following:
Your full name and invoice number
Vehicle or part details
Reason for the refund request
Supporting documents (photos, inspection reports, customs documents, etc.)
Our team will review your request within 3 business days and contact you with a decision or next steps.
